Silk is a great novel , a dramatic kind of a story where in we can still see the practicality of the real actions the characters did. The every lesson this story has taught me is when to let go of people you love even if you love her in you fullest.

This story is about a man who searching for silk for his business and by searching he then reached japan and met a girl there , then he had a relationship with that girl for that he always went to japan saying to his wife it is for business but he just started lying to his wife. When Japan experience civil war he never saw the girl he love. His wife knew already all of it all along that he was having  mistress . At that moment Herve fell so sad then his wife notice it so his wife send him a comforting message that pretended to be from his mistress but Herve  already know that it was his wife who wrote him but by that time his wife was already dead.

Herve's wife is the one that send the letter to him, very much unexpected. For me it was the bravest and greatest thing I've never know in my life to sacrifice the love for the sake of her husband. To know that the one we love the most does not love us back we get angry  we want to revenge but in this story in order to make his husband happy she just accept the fact and act as a real loving woman That's why the story has taught me to be strong, strong as you don't need to have a fight between others but fight with in your emotion , that is too powerful to overcome.
